Goth darn that
Christina Ricci is one hot weirdo. Her debut as Cher's youngest
daughter in Mermaids (1990) was followed by the unholy grail of
gothic turn-on, Wednesday Addams in the The Addams Family (1991) and
Addams Family Values (1993). The just-five-foot darkly arousing imp
grew up--and out--before our very pop-eyes. She played an oversexed
teenager in The Ice Storm (1997), a lovely Lolita in The Opposite of
Sex (1998) and a barely legal gal-pal to legendary nutball Vincent
Gallo in Buffalo 66 (1996). The buxom beauty lost some of her baby
fat, but thankfully none of her sweater sacks, and strutted that new
willowy form as the new hot bitch on TV's Ally McBeal. And then the
gods answered Mr. Skin's prayers. Christina's colossal chest is at
last revealed in Prozac Nation (2001). The release of this story
about a Harvard student's bout with depression has been on hold for
years, and Mr. Skin waits with baited breast.
Skinfo: On
December 4, 1999, parodying the Sally Jesse Raphael show on Saturday
Night Live, guest host Christina played a 13-year-old runaway who
sleeps with dogs. Getting so into her kinky performance, Christina
accidentally punched Ana Gasteyer in the face. That dog lover started
one hell of a catfight.
Quote: On
acting: "It's forced me to question who I am really early on. I
think that I know who I am a lot better than a lot of kids my age
because I've had to face so many different people and so many
different faces of myself." |

Christina Ricci
Totally Naked and Nude at Prozac
Nation
What's a nut
to do? If you're Christina Ricci as the messed-up heroine of Prozac
Nation (2001), then it's pill popping time. But if you're a viewer,
then it's nut draining time as Christina finally unloads her heavy
sacks in her first true and truly outstanding nude scene. She opens
the picture with a bang, fully nude and those honking hooters rising
over her flat stomach like two dirigibles advertising something wild.
There's no way the film can top those tops, but it doesn't matter.
The image lingers like the smell of sex and intoxicates the audience
throughout the proceedings. If that's what being a member of Prozac
Nation is all about . . . doctor, prescribe that happy medicine to
the Skin Central staff and watch that staff grow.
Fast Forward
to: (0:04) Why do they keep this movie in the can when it opens with
this glorious and singularly spectacular shot of Christina's cans?
There's even a peek of bush coming out from between her shapely legs
. . . talk about box-office clout!
Skinfo: Prozac
Nation author Elizabeth Wurtzel is infamous. Her book Bitch: In
Praise of Difficult Women's hardcover jacket features the busty
scribe topless with her middle finger raised. But there's a dark
shadow hiding her write stuff . . . bitch! |
